Home Loan Application Checklist

It is very important as a serious buyer, to go to a lender and get pre-approved for a loan. Most sellers won't accept offers on their homes without a letter from a lender telling them that you, as a buyer are ready, willing, and able to buy their home. Here is what you'll need for a home loan application:

• Most recent paystubs (1 month)
  
• Copies of the last 2 years W-2's and Federal Tax Returns.
• Addresses of where you lived for the past 2 years.
• Names and addresses of your employers for the past 2 years.
  
• Last 2 month's bank statements or addresses and account numbers.
• Copy of the real estate contract (after you decide on a home).
• Copy of Divorce decree, separation or child support papers (if
  applicable)
• Social Security numbers and driver's licenses
